Welcome to the memorial page for

Clifford Hyatt

August 27, 2016

Cliff was a sensitive, loving, kind, caring, and mysterious man. Very much an advocate for the "underdog" or anyone feeling "less than". Although he didn't have any children of his own his partner had a son who benefited from his quick wit and "matter of fact" philosophy of life.

Born and raised in Bloomfield, Ct he made many friends throughout both his educational and career years. He started working at CIGNA in his junior year as part of a work-study program at Bloomfield High School. Upon graduating in 1974 he became a full-time IT Technician which was a position that continued to grow as he did. In 2007-2008 Cliff retired as an IT Specialist.

Through his years he was fortunate to meet many people who became friends, the love of his life being one of them. They had mutual friends, including our next door neighbor...it was meant to be. He eventually moved to Massachusetts where they created a home together. They traveled, entertained, and embraced this world for 15 years.

On the morning of August 27th, 2016, Cliff moved onto the next journey of his life. He leaves behind his wife, Karen Stark and her son Michael Stix; his brother Hopeton Hyatt; and his sisters Marilyn Tinling, Crystal Dash, and Sara Hyatt and her daughter Tia Rose Scott. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends whom he considered family.
