Wendell Palmas affectionately known as “Junior” completed his earthly journey on December 7, 2022. He was born to the late Wendell Palmas Sr and the late Lucille Scott. Wendell was born and raised in Boston where he resided until his death. Wendell was joined in marriage to Diane on September 17, 1983.
During his youth he was involved in Pop Warner football, Wendell attended Eliot Congregational Church where his religious training began. Wendell had a great love of music and watching the history channel. He loved his children and grandchildren who called him “Poppa”. . He enjoyed fishing outings with his sons and grandchildren. He loved going to the Charles river to relax and enjoy watching the water and kids play and run. Wendell believed in God and would read the Wake and Watchtowers his mother in law would send to him.
During his last weeks on earth his devoted daughter Bisa assisted with his care. God allowed us to have him for 71 years. He was loved and his smile and personality will truly be missed.
Wendell was preceded in death by his son Atiba. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 39 1/2 years, Diane, mother in law Ada McCoy; Sons, Mann, Damien (Erika) Timothy (Carly) his daughters Sonia (Mose) and Bisa; Brother James Murray, sisters Christina Murray Caldwell and Cheryl Murray Winbush; Brother in laws Raymond Farmer, Ronald Mccoy (Janice) Charles McCoy; sisters in law Sandra Farmer, Andrea Greene (John) and a host of loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews uncles and aunts.
