Tiandra Johnson Smith

On Tuesday, November 9, 1976, in Boston, MA Tiandra J. Johnson-Smith was born to Patricia M. Copeland and Leonard R. Smith. Tiandra was the oldest of two children.
Tiandra grew up in both MA, Lynn, MA. She attended both Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School and Lynn English High School, Lynn, MA. After graduation, Tiandra worked in office administration as office manager. She brought her many skills and talents to her professional life.
During her downtime she was an excellent cook, and made the very best ginger lobster. When she found a food recipe she loved she could indulge in it for days, weeks or maybe even years.

Tiandra also loved fashion, she lived for shopping, especially for the shoes she could not walk in for more than a half minute. She wore the latest hair styles, wigs, nail wear, eyelash flips and makeup color style.Children loved her, and she would always have someone else’s child and took on the name’s “TeeTee or Aunty Tiandra.” Strangers were always drawn to her quick wit, her laughter, and ability to listen. People were attracted to her energy.  

In her later years, Tiandra found the Lord and was baptized at Roslindale Baptist Church Sunday, March 8, 2020, by the Reverend Lee T. Boddie, Senior Pastor. By receiving Christ as her personal Lord and Savior she became more nurturing, patient and compassionate in faith to others. Tiandra loved being a part of her new Church Family.

On Thursday, August 11, 2022, in the comfort of her own home Tiandra J. Johnson-Smith passed away unexpectedly. She will be lovingly missed and remembered by all. 

Tiandra will be remembered by her mother Patrica M. Copeland, Boston, MA; her father Leonard R. Smith & Shelley Baer (stepmother), Indio CA; a brother Marcus Johnson-Smith, Cambridge, MA; cousins; best friends; and a host of aunts and uncle.
