Paulette D Jarvis was born to The late Paul D Smith & Thelma P. Smith on 11-04-1938 she completed her 85 year sojourn in this life 0n 10-08-2024 She is preceded in death by 3 of her 5 siblings Paul Smith, Pamela Curtis, & Esther Mitchell late husband Eugene Jarvis and daughter Lisa Jarvis, leaving 2 remaining siblings, older sister Patricia Ann Lucas & younger sister Pauline Smith. Paulette’s childhood was marked by a path destined for service. When asked she stated she wanted to be a missionary at the young age of 11 years old, prompting her to stay close to her mother Thelma and travel amongst the elders. Paulette attended (Cambridge High & Latin school) in Cambridge thru the 12th grade moving into the workforce at Hood Rubber manufacturing footwear & even designing an assembly tool which advanced productions so efficiently that it was patented by the company, Paulette was never compensated, As she would say “Unreal, Lord please save the dying goat!” Paulette’s creativity & entrepreneur mindset drove her to create The “Slush n Stuff” Truck & Store in Cambridge. Paulette’s passion was Designing her “Deep Spirit Originals” custom handmade bags, hats, & jewelry, loading up her black Cadillac and heading off to as she’d say “make money” Paulette was also known for her Antiques & Collectables and her vast knowledge which she loved to share. Paulette leaves behind a magnificent legacy including 8 children (by age) Nannette(Thelma) Eugene, Jay, Donna, Peter(Abdul Wali), Craig, Jadi(John), and Michael. Son in law’s Maxo & Al and daughter in law Rahima(Renee) 21 Grandchildren; Shandra, Martial, Aaron, Ahnauncia, Marlene, Joy, Shaleah, Jamaria Jaden, Jeremiah, Raijan, Nia, Tessa, Stephon, Andre, Christopher, Staisha, Stacy, Keturah, Zahirah, Na’im,(13 Great Grandchildren) a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many countless friends… “Reach out & touch somebody’s hand, Make this world a better place if u can”
