Ora E Themea

Ora Emmaline. (Lynch) Themea was born on February 13, 1923, in Boston, Massachusetts to Joseph E. Lynch and Eva C. (Clarke) Lynch, she was their only child. A lifelong resident of Upton Street, Cambridge, MA, Ora attended high school at Cambridge High and Latin. In 1958, Ora married her sweetheart, Stansbury A. Themea, Sr.

Ora was a very caring wife, mother and daughter and made her family a priority. She cared for her parents until they were laid to rest and was devoted to her children in making sure that they would also become caring and responsible people and ensured that they had everything they needed to be successful in life.

Ora was a social worker for the state of Massachusetts in the Division of Employment Security for three decades and was a focal point in the Central Square office. After retiring, Ora and her husband Stansbury Sr. spent their time traveling to locations throughout the world and visiting their children and grandchildren.

On October 26, 2022, Ora E. Themea transitioned into eternal life. Ora was preceded in death by her husband Stansbury A. Themea, Sr. She is survived by; her sons Robert E. Touake, (wife Kathy), Stansbury A. Themea, Jr. (wife Wendy), Mark J. Themea and daughter Susan K. Themea; along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A host of other relatives and friends will mourn her passing and will miss her wit and charm.
