With love and gratitude, we remember the beautiful life of Myrtle May Wong-Cragwell, who passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025. Born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, she later made Boston her home, bringing warmth and kindness to everyone she met. She was the devoted wife of the late Leroy CragwellA gentle soul with a radiant smile, she found joy in laughter and was always there to help others. Whether offering a kind word or a helping hand, she had a way of making people feel loved and cared for. In her later years, she was surrounded by the love and care of Heather Tennant, her grandnephew Simon Gray, and Melbourne Cragwell Jr.
She is survived by Chris Tulloch, Kevin and Shiva Cragwell, Cheryl Cragwell, and Thompson Cragwell; her beloved sister-in-law, Florine Cragwell; the Morse family—Pamela, Sherine, Jimmy, and Lisa; and a family of brothers, nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors who will forever cherish her memory.
Though she is no longer with us, her kindness, laughter, and loving spirit will remain in our hearts always.
A service to honor her life will be held on February 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM at:
124 Western Ave, Cambridge, MA 02139.
Rest peacefully, Aunty Myrtle. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.
