Muriel A. Smith was originally from Christ Church, Barbados born on July 01,  1938, to Marjorie C. Phillips. She was the second born of four children

Muriel affectionally known as white girl by her family has always been a feisty firecracker and a strong minded woman.  She always said what she meant. She was accustomed to her ways and having things done that way. Muriel had lived most of her life on Green Avenue in Brooklyn, New York. 

She was very well known and loved in her neighborhood where she was a seamstress.  Muriel moved to Cambridge MA to live with her daughter and grandchildren in 2008.  For her time with us; she was a member of the Senior Center Adult Day Care and Community Schools Senior Programs.  She was always the social butterfly participating in monthly trips, dances, proms and theatre shows.

Muriel had a deep love and passion for watching WWE, Judge Judy, Greg Mathis, reality shows such as Pitbull and Paroles, RuPaul Drag Race,

Naked and Afraid and Little Women of Atlanta.  She loved her Yorkie Poo Drizzy who was a support and guard dog that followed her

everywhere, and the family cats Brick and Poya as well.

Muriel was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to most she met. She had a way of putting a smile on the faces of the

people she met.  Her spirit will forever live on through all those that loved and cared for her.

Muriel is survived by her only child Patricia K. Bradshaw, sister Lolita Thomas, brother Colin Smith (UK), grandchildren Isaiah III, Isai and

Patre´cia Bradshaw, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other

relatives.
