"Marjorie Elaine Dobson, a longtime resident of Cambridge, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on October 25, 2024, at the age of 79, surrounded by her beloved family. Born in Chapelton, Jamaica, Marjorie moved to Massachusetts as a young woman and began a life marked by faith, love, and unwavering devotion.
She is survived by her cherished husband of over 50 years, George Dobson; her beloved siblings, Alina Smith, Vandyke ‘Dude’ Batchelor, and Patrick Walters; her son, Marcell “Jack” Harris; her loving stepdaughters, Yvonne and Beverly Dobson; and her adored grandchildren, Elijah Harris, Caleb Harris, Selah Harris, and Amarhi Stevenson. Marjorie is predeceased by her parents, Leonard Batchelor and Viola Walters.

A celebration of Marjorie’s life will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Cambridge Community Outreach Tabernacle. A viewing will begin at 9:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 10:00 am."
