Malcolm Daniel Obituary

Malcolm Daniel was born in Christ Church, Barbados on July 19,1933. He was the second of three children born to Winifred Daniel and Leon Harewood. He immigrated to New York in 1979 and later moved to Cambridge Massachusetts in 1981.

On November 19, 1960 he was united in Holy Matrimony to Patsy Forde, and from that union was born five children.

Malcolm was a faithful member of Welches Gospel Hall Brethren Church in Barbados and after he moved to United States of America, he continued his commitment to the Brethren Church in New York and Massachusetts.

He was employed at Massachusetts Institute of Technology for eighteen years, working as the Building & Maintenance Supervisor until he retired in June of 1999.

Malcom was a skilled carpenter, skilled with his hands and enjoyed building and repairing things. In his spare time, he was out repairing houses with his friends. You could count on Malcolm, he provided comfort, prayer and support to family, friends and co-workers. He was a loyal friend and hold friendship at a very high standard.

He is predeceased in death by his beloved wife of Patsy Daniel. He leaves to mourn his loss Father of Merlene Daniel, Charles Daniel, Annie Small, Verene Lancaster, Alison Handy and stepdaughter Enid Forde. Grand-children Kellyann, David, Richell, Katrina, Daijshaun, Eric, Tyrie, Alexis, Nathaniel, Stenicia, and Michal. And a host of Great Grand Children. He is survived by siblings Ianthe Daniel and Eudora Davis of England, in addition to many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
