Madeline Bernard Charles

Madeleine Charles Bernard passed from this life into eternal life in God’s

Kingdom on June 15, 2023, at age 75 after a 5 years battle with cancer.

Our Mother was Born on March 24, 1948 in Port-au-Prince to deceased

Father Andre Charles and Deceased Mother Marie Ulianne Frazile. Madeleine

was the wife of deceased husband Chassagne Bernard who similarly lost his

battle to cancer on May 2, 2023, she was the mother of 4 Sons. However, many

people considered Madeleine as their mother.

Pursuing a career in Education, she met Chassagne Bernard and bonded

with their common love for Christ and serving others. Madeleine’s Christian faith

was an essential part of her life, she was a faithful servant who loved the Lord,

her family, church, her community and spent a great deal of time mentoring

young Christians and participated in church activities.

Madeleine is survived by her sons Berthelot, Jude, Gregore, Nehemie, her

grandchildren, Kerllin, Chassagne, Amy, Juliana, Myra, Julien, Nathaniel,

Moisha, Jaylah, Estrella, Jovani, Junuis, Yolgredyne.

Her brothers and sisters: Jean Robert Charles, Fignole Noel, Lafontaine

Noel, Luckner Noel, Silotte Merveillard, Marie Joseph Noel Champagnes, Jean

Eddy Paul, Marie Michelle Paul.
