Jean Claude Robert Paul (Roro) passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 71. He was the oldest son of the late Jean Edouard Paul and Andrena Jean Charles. He moved to Boston in 1973 from his birthplace of Haiti. He was a hard-working man who enjoyed being surrounded by his family and friends. Before retirement, he worked at the Department of Mental Health, Tewksbury State Hospital for over 30 years. 

As a skilled mechanic he spent some of his free time working on cars, he also loved to exercise, play sports, and watch reruns of his favorite television shows. Known for always being meticulous about his clothes and appearance his outfits always consisted of a crease in his slacks. 

Known as Roro by many he was also considered the Godfather (Patriarch) of his family, he was known to instill discipline and encouraged folks to see the bigger picture and learn from their actions and behaviors. 

He served as a role model for many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by the mother of his children Irma Moses-Vance; his two daughters; Claubèrte Paul-Hercules and Latisha Moses-Vidale, one son; Robert Claude Moses; two sons-in-law Urban Hercules and Valantino Vidale, one daughter-in-law, Ketesha Moses; and stepdaughter Latoya Vance.

His seven grandchildren Sarai, Shiloh, Skye, Tess, Jade, Rudell, Makayla, and four honorary step-grandchildren Isaiah, Isaac, Latoya, and Genesis 

A host of brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, relatives, godchildren, and friends. 

The funeral service of Jean Claude Robert Paul will be held at 10:00 am on Monday February 8, 2021, Saint John's the Evangelist Parish, 2254 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, Massachusetts 02140

Due to COVID-19 restrictions attendance to the service is limited, a link has been included to attend the services via Zoom (pending)
