**Jacqueline Elizabeth Crawford Richardson**

 Jacqueline Elizabeth Crawford Richardson, 96, of Tewksbury, passed away peacefully after a full and faith-filled life. She was born on April 4, 1929, in Roxbury, Massachusetts, to Daniel Zimmerman Crawford and Glenn Mae (Mosely) Crawford.Mrs. Richardson was a lifelong educator and devoted member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Cambridge. A graduate of Cambridge High and Latin School, she earned her B.S. in Elementary Education from Salem Teachers College in 1950, a master’s degree from Boston State College, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Specialization from Boston College.She began her career as a typist and stenographer for the federal government in Washington, D.C., before returning to Massachusetts to teach in the Cambridge Public Schools, where she served for more than 30 years before retiring in 1993.A gifted vocalist, Mrs. Richardson studied classical singing, performed in recitals, and sang with the MasterSingers of the Lexington Choral Society, touring Europe. At St. Paul A.M.E. Church, she served faithfully in many roles, including Sunday School teacher, choir member, missionary, and Steward Emeritus. She also founded the Little People’s Choir and led numerous community outreach programs.n 1955, she married Earl L. Hargrove, with whom she had two sons, Earl L. Hargrove, Jr., and the late Daniel C. Hargrove. In 1976, she married the late Hilman P. Richardson, and they made their home in Tewksbury.Mrs. Richardson is survived by her son, Earl L. Hargrove of Plymouth; daughter-in-law, Susan Gray Hargrove; grandson, Daniel Gray Hargrove of Cambridge; and many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, and her son, Daniel C. Hargrove.Mrs. Richardson will be remembered for her deep faith, her lifelong dedication to education and music, and her spirit of kindness and service.Funeral services will be held at St. Paul A.M.E. Church, 37 Bishop Allen Drive, Cambridge, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 11:00 am.  Visitation will precede the service beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Mount Auburn Cemetery.
