It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother and friend, Anthony “Tony” Lawrence Durant, who left us peacefully on May 4, 2025, at the age of 35.
Anthony was the cherished son of Anthony S. Durant and Heather L. Piggott-Durant, and a loving sibling to Makayla Durant. He was the grandson of the late Cynthia Elaine Piggott and Joan Rose Durant.
Anthony’s early education included Henry Buckner for preschool and kindergarten, followed by the Shady Hill School from first through eighth grade. He continued his academic journey at Dexter Southfield for high school and later attended Northeastern University, graduating in 2013. Throughout his educational journey Tony formed lasting friendships and continued to grow into the remarkable person, we all knew and loved. His generous spirit, quick wit, and kind heart touched the lives of everyone who knew him. Tony will be deeply missed.
