Memorial Service Rev. Reginald Mitchell

Rev. Reginald Mitchell, Senior Pastor of Allen AME Church in Providence, Rhode Island, died peacefully on Saturday, February 4, 2017.  His 30 years in the ministry included serving as pastor of Bethel AME in Lowell, Massachusetts for 15 years before being appointed to the pastorate of Allen AME in Providence, Rhode Island for 15 years.  A native of North Carolina, Rev. Mitchell had an exemplary career as a quality assurance professional in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries for more than 30 years. Rev Mitchell served in various leadership roles in the New England Annual Conference AME Church and was the Chairman of the Board of Directors of AMEN, Inc, a residential housing program. He was also a member of the Rhode Island Council of Churches. 

Rev. Mitchell leaves to mourn his loving wife of 30 years, Delores Mitchell, his two children, 5 siblings, a host of relatives, parishioners, friends and colleagues throughout the country. 

Funeral Services will take place in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
